Cultivating an Alkaline Life...It's More Than Just Food

Cultivating an Alkaline Life...It's More Than Just Food
Balance is the key word characterizing the “Alkaline Life.” Balance implies that both acid and alkaline biochemical factors are essential for life. In fact, you can’t have one without the other, and too much of either puts life as a whole in jeopardy.

Each form of life has its own range of optimum pH. Some plants such as potatoes and blueberries thrive in acidic soil, while others like asparagus grow best in alkaline soils. The pH balance may be tilted in one direction, but there is always an acid-alkaline balance point. Both are essential.

We humans evolved in the alkaline ocean and just like the oceans we thrive in a chemistry that is slightly alkaline. We are also social beings. Just as each of our 60,000,000,000,000 cells works one with all others, so each individual human can be seen as one cell in the body of humanity.

The Alkaline Lifestyle is a style of living that recognizes and appreciates both the individual and the whole. It is a lifestyle that seeks to mimic the order and intelligence of our human body and to replicate socially the cooperative nature of each and every cell.
